IRA MC & BGM MEETING 2024

The Management Committee Meeting and Biennial General Meeting 2024 of the International Rubber Association were held at Lotus Suite 12, 22nd floor, Centara Grand at CentralWorld Hotel, in Bangkok, Thailand, and via Google Meet on Saturday, 11 May 2024 at 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m., chaired by Mr. Paul Sumade Lee, IRA Chairman and Mr. Howard Evans, IRA Deputy Chairman with Mr. Supadetch Ongsakul serving as IRA Executive Secretary. Associations present comprised of European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (ETRMA), Federation of the Rubber Trade Associations of Malaysia (FRTAM), Malaysia Rubber Exchange (MRE), Rubber Association of Indonesia (GAPKINDO), Singapore Exchange (SGX SICOM), Rubber Trade Association of Europe (RTAE), The Japan Rubber Manufacturers' Association (JRMA), Rubber Trade Association of Singapore (RTAS), the Thai Rubber Association (TRA), the Thai Latex Association (TLA), and Association for Rubber Development of Cambodia (ARDC).

The important matter of the meeting is the election of IRA Management Committee and Chairman. The meeting agreed that IRA Management Committee be the same. Mr. Paul Sumade Lee (TRA) and Mr. Howard Evans (RTAE) continue the position as Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively.
